Lakeland Tropics Futbol Club Announces Major Partnership with Capelli Sport
Capelli Sport to Become Official Uniform and Apparel Supplier in 2020
Lakeland, FL, October 22, 2019 – The Board of Directors of the Lakeland Tropics Futbol Club are proud to announce a new collaboration and partnership with Capelli Sport beginning Fall 2020. With a 4 year agreement finalized, Capelli Sport will become the Official and Exclusive uniform, apparel and equipment provider for the Youth Tropics club, outfitting both the travel and inter-league teams. As well, beginning Fall 2019, the Florida Tropics pro-club will wear Capelli Sport, and in 2020, will match the youth travel kits – further integrating the fullness of the Tropics organization.
According to the terms of the agreement, the partnership, will officially begin with orders in June 2020. All on-field and off-field player and coach apparel, accessories and equipment will be exclusively Capelli Sport.
“Our Board took a lengthy approach in determining our next uniform partnership,” said Board President, Yadira Holmes. “It was imperative for us to select a partner who had the same vision to ensure the highest and most valuable experience for our families, coaches and players. We believe Capelli Sport is prepared to offer a stellar customer experience, with a high-end design that our families deserve and expect. It’s going to be an exciting partnership for our club.”
Terms of the agreement include:
· Full travel kit;
· Full inter-league kit including a Home and Away jersey in Tropics brand colors;
· An online shop for teams and families to purchase kits, as well as spirit apparel for both the travel and inter-league teams;
· Access to Capelli Sport owned professional clubs located in Germany, Denmark, and Greece, as well as links to the Capelli Sport network;
· Capelli Sport on-field branding; and
· Coaches Gear
“We are very excited to start our new partnership with the Tropics professional and youth teams,” said Capelli Sport President and CEO George Altirs. “We have worked very closely with the staff and couldn’t ask for better partners. We see a bright future working together in many aspects.” Capelli Sport Vice President of Sporting Business, Jason Arnold, commented on the partnership. “There is a lot of talent at the club and Capelli Sport is looking forward to providing these athletes with the uniforms, equipment and developmental opportunities to further the programs growth and success over the next four years.”
Capelli Sport was founded in 2011 by President and CEO George Altirs, with the mission to provide quality, functionality and design for high-level performance on the field. The new agreement will add the Guyana Football Federation to that list of partnerships.
