Growing up playing soccer for the Glasgow Celtics, John came to Florida from Scotland in the late 1990s and made Lakeland his home with his wife Lisa and their two daughters. John has been involved with LFC since 2009, coaching both Recreational and Competitive teams and serving on the LFC Board of Directors since 2012. As a coach, John has seen his former players go on to play college soccer for respected programs in the NCAA. When he is not coaching or promoting the club, John works as a lab technician at the regional hospital in town.
